Cantacuzino The legacy of a great Byzantine family

Placed at the foothills of Zamora Mountain, in Busteni, and enjoying grand views of the Bucegi Mountains, Cantacuzino Castle is part of the impressive cultural and material legacy of the Cantacuzino family whose origins go back one thousand years to the Byzantine Empire.

The castle is built in Neo-Romanian style, probably the most extensive heritage Romania gave to the world culture, by Prince Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino, a very influential political personality in 20th century.
